Editorial requirements
Submissions must be original, accurate, inclusive, and free from fabricated testing or unsupported certainty. We do not accept copied retailer descriptions, undisclosed advertorials, fake reviews, or payment in exchange for a guaranteed verdict.

Gear editorial submission standard
Gear accepts pitches that make a reader more capable of choosing. Strong submissions name one audience, one real situation, one primary search intent, and one durable decision asset such as a checklist, comparison matrix, outfit formula, care method, or return-risk guide.
What we review before acceptance
We look for original insight, clear sourcing, accurate product boundaries, audience-appropriate images, specific fit or use detail, and honest limitations. We do not accept copied retailer descriptions, unsupported “best for everyone” claims, invented personal testing, undisclosed commercial relationships, or pages created only to place affiliate links.
